This year, Sellwood-Moreland's Decemberville will last a month, kicking off on November 28th and running until December 31st. Sellwood-Moreland will transform with our friendly Window Wonderland competition and a wide variety of events + offerings, including maker markets, restaurant specials, photos with Santa, caroling, charity drives, holiday movies and more!

Window Wonderland: Our 2nd annual friendly business window display competition offers participating businesses the chance to win cash prizes from the SMBA and the neighborhood can vote for their favorite displays.

We are also including a printed interactive map/scavenger hunt (as well as our digital voting) to encourage visiting a wide variety of businesses. Families and individuals can hunt for hidden letters in each display to create a secret holiday phrase. The SMBA Decemberville Committee will deliver 1 small letter to hide within each display, along with the voting QR code.

Participants can bring their completed scavenger hunt to one of a handful of Holiday Hubs to collect prizes!

Deadline to signup for the Annual Winter Window Display Competition was November 1, 2026!!

Decemberville Event Calendar: Businesses can submit their holiday events—including markets, live music, performances, and more—to one central calendar located on the SMBA website. The business alliance will drive traffic to this calendar through physical posters, social media, city-wide print ads, and neighborhood table toppers.

Specials + Offerings: Are you running a holiday food or drink special, offering free gift wrap, or hosting a month-long sale? The SMBA will highlight your offering on our website. Think of the Decemberville page as a central location for all things happening in Sellwood-Moreland during the month of December!
