40 of the top, two player teams from across the nation will descend upon Westmoreland Park at The Portland Petanque Club, hosting its premier annual competition. We invite you to come watch as players "point" & "shoot" their boules (balls) with pinpoint accuracy as they vie for positional advantage to an unfixed target. Often resembling a game of "cat and mouse", petanque is the most popular sport in France. While this event will spotlight top flight players, our club supports both social and competitive play for the entire family. Be forewarned, it has been known to be addictive!
