Warm Data: A Multi-Generational Park Gathering

  • Sellwood Park SE 7th Ave &, SE Miller St Portland OR 97202 USA (map)

You are cheerfully invited to start the summer with a Warm Data Lab in Sellwood Park.

This is an invitation to hang out, share stories, slow down, and be together. You are welcome to arrive as you are, with all your messy complexity and whole selves, and explore the changing world we are living in.

Coinciding with the summer solstice and Father’s Day, this is a beautiful opportunity to honor the tangled, beautiful, generational layers of relationships and natural cycles that connect us all. Families, chosen kin, and solitary wanderers are all equally welcome to share this afternoon.

In times of fragmentation, this is a place to find one another again.

What is a Warm Data Lab?

Developed by Nora Bateson, a Warm Data Lab is a gathering where participants share their stories and observations about a common question. Everyone moves between small groups whenever and wherever their curiosity takes them, listening, sharing, and exploring new ways of seeing the world. In the last half-hour we come back together as one group and share what we’ve noticed, weaving together the sense we’ve been making.
